Art Exhibition "Paris to Amami" / Artist in Residence vol.03 Painting
"An Artist-in-Residence Program that invites artists from outside the islands to create works that express the charm of Amami Oshima at Ryukyu Villa."
As the third installment, it has been decided that the Paris-based artist, ANnCO MIURA, will be in residence for production.
Stay Production Period: 2025.1.6 (MON)-1.17 (THU)
The completed work will be presented and exhibited at the small complex "UNION" that was born in the shopping district of Naze, Amami Oshima.

『PARIS TO LOVE ME』

A reception party/talk show featuring artists will be held on January 18 (Saturday).
In addition to a special menu exclusive to the reception party and music by guest DJs, a special happy hour plan themed around the French culture of "Apéritif" (pre-dinner drinks) will also be available during the exhibition period.

ANnCO MIURA
A Japanese painter from Shizuoka Prefecture.
When I was young, I learned how to hold a brush under my aunt, who was a calligraphy teacher, and was given the opportunity to engage with painting and artistic works.
Moved to Paris in 2010. Started serious artistic activities as a painter in France.
In November 2018, an exhibition was held at the BVLGARI flagship store in Spain. It was featured in the magazine 'Madame Figaro' and became a topic of discussion.
Since September 2019, works have been presented at the LOUIS VUITTON Osaka Takashimaya store.
