As the first installment, we had the painter Mr. Konirow create a fusuma painting during his stay. It is on permanent display at the Ryukyu Villa Bilow.

Konirow

Artist. Born in Kyoto. Influenced by the fusuma paintings of the temples in Kyoto that he saw closely during his childhood, he began painting. He mainly focuses on mural production based on street art culture. He has participated in numerous projects, including live painting, mural creation, and exhibitions, traveling across Japan as well as to Asia, Europe, America, and the Caribbean.
