Ashitoku Beach
The beautiful beach of Ashitoku appears just a 2-minute walk from the villa. Because it is an inland sea, the waves and winds are gentle and soothing. This beach is recommended for morning and evening walks.

Artist (Miyadaiku): Naotaka Saito After experiencing the gang, he became a shrine carpenter. He has been involved in the construction of shrines, temples, and other structures throughout Japan. He lives in Amami Oshima Island and Kanagawa Prefecture.
Herb garden
Herbs grown in the nature of Amami Oshima have a strong aroma and flavor. Ryukyu Villa is fully equipped with cooking utensils, so please enjoy cooking with herbs with your family and friends.

「Mud and Indigo Dyeing」
Workshop
Visitors can experience "mud dyeing" and "indigo dyeing," traditional techniques that have been handed down on Amami Oshima since ancient times. Beginning with the creation of dyes, natural dyeing is used to produce the threads and kasuri of Oshima tsumugi.
You can bring your own dyeing materials or purchase T-shirts, stoles, eco-bags, etc. (500-2000 yen) from the workshop. You can dye 4-5 pieces in a full day.
